Qualifications

• MD degree.
• Licensure as a physician in accordance with Florida Statute 458.
• Certification or Certification Eligible by a recognized board in a medical specialty area.

Requirements

• Criminal background check
• Department of Motor Vehicles check
• Employment reference check
• Drug screening
• Current and valid driver's license with no more than six (6) points

Description
 

• Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of behavioral health care clients. 
• Responsible for patient admission and discharge. 
• Supervise treatment plan development and implementation.
• Provide medication management.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings.
• Provide direction, consultation, and education as needed. 
• Participate in on-call rotation one weekend every other month. 
• Responsible for 12 bed geriatric unit.
• Will serve as back up to other units.
