Qualifications
- Licensed as a practical nurse in accordance with Florida statue 464.
- Previous psychiatric experience preferred

Description
- Completes pre-admission nursing assessments at the request of E&A.
- Receives, documents, and implements/carries out Admission, Standing/Routine and ad hoc physician orders in accordance with unit procedures.
- Conducts ongoing monitoring of unit functioning. Provides supervision of Certified Nursing Assistants and Mental Health Assistants to ensure performance of required duties and functions.
- Provides ongoing nursing supervision, assessment, and monitoring of patients.
- Administers medication and documents administration in accordance with unit procedures.
- Completes documentation for shift report and daily staffing report.
