Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with a major in the field of counseling, social work, psychology, criminal justice, nursing, rehabilitation, special education, health education, or a related human services field.
  • One (1) year of related work experience in a mental health-related field required.
  • Master's degree preferred.  Inpatient psychiatric experience preferred.

  • Undergo a criminal background check
  • Department of Motor Vehicles check
  • Current and valid driver's license with no more than six (6) points
  • Employment references check
  • Drug screening
  • Produce original sealed transcripts

 

Description

  • Shift is Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
  • Serves as the Agency's Baker Act Coordinator and provides liaison services to staff, organizations, and providers (e.g., TMH, FSH, court, public defender, etc.) on Baker Act-related matters in accordance with Florida statutes/requirements.
  • Serves as back-up Access Coordinator.
