Shift :     Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

Rate of Pay
$12.50/hr

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with a major in counseling, social work, psychology, criminal justice, rehabilitation, or a related human services field
• OR
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with a degree other than social services plus one (1) year full time experience working with adults experiencing serious mental illness.

Requirements

• Current and valid driver's license with no more than six (6) points
• Undergo a criminal background check
• Department of Motor Vehicles check
• Employment reference check
• Drug screening.

Description

• Accesses and documents job-related interests and abilities through vocational and on the job assessments in accordance with procedures.
• Determines the effect of client's mental illness on employment, identifyng behaviors that interfere with work performance.
• Develops plan to assist client in developing skills needed to find and maintain employment. 
• Maintains clinical record of  all service activity.
• Provides and documents skills training.
• Works closely with other agencies.

This position is eligible for medical and dental insurance at 78% paid by Apalachee, group life and long-term disability insurances at 100% paid by Apalachee, and profit sharing plan at 100% paid by Apalachee.
