Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited university with a major in the field of Social Work or Mental Health Counseling required.  
• Two years of demonstrated professional work experience. 
• One year of administrative or supervisory experience.
• Licensure by the State of Florida as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) preferred.

• Current and valid driver's license with no more than six (6) points.
• All Apalachee Center, Inc employees are required to undergo a criminal background check.

Description
 

• Serves as the supervisor of inpatient social services.
• Supervises Admission/Discharge Coordinators.
• Provides direction to and oversight of department functioning.
• Evaluates and monitors service delivery.
• Provides leadership in motivating, training, and evaluating staff.
• Documents formal clinical supervision. 
• Assists in program development, expansion, and improvement.
• Provides technical assistance regarding program and client issues.
