Shift:    Monday - Friday,   11:30 p.m. - 8:00 a.m.


Rate of Pay:    $15.30 plus shift differential


Qualifications

• Licensure as a practical nurse in accordance with Florida statute 464. Previous psychiatric experience preferred.

Description

• Delivery of nursing care. 
• Applies current nursing principles and techniques in the care and treatment of patients. 
• Takes vital signs and administers medication as prescribed. 
• Assists physicians in patient management and treatment. 
• Provides nursing assessment, monitoring, education, and treatment services and activities. 
• Provides crisis intervention. 
• Prepares and maintains patient records. 
• Completes nursing assessments under the supervision of an RN.
