Qualifications
- Licensed as an LPN in accordance with Florida statue 464. Previous psychiatric experience preferred
- Must obtain and maintain current CPR, First Aid, and CPI certifications
- Completes pre-admission nursing assessments at the request of E&A.
- Receives, documents, and implements/carries our Admission, Standing/Routine and ad hoc physician orders in accordance with unit procedures.
- Conducts ongoing monitoring of unit functioning. Provides supervision of CNAs and MHAs to ensure performance of required duties and functions.
- Assigns staff to fulfill patient supervision and medical management/ADL needs.
- Provides nursing assessment, monitoring, education, and treatment services and activities.
- Performs ongoing nursing supervision, assessment and monitoring of patients.
- Administers medication and documents administration in accordance with unit procedures.
- Completes documentation for shift report and daily staffing report.
