Rate of Pay

$9.00-$10.60 per hour (depends on whether or not you are certified)

Qualifications

• Mental health consumer who has been diagnosed and in recovery from a mental illness within the past two (2) years who is willing to be a role model for adults with serious or persistent mental illness.
• Certification from the Florida Certification Board as a Certified Recovery Peer Specialist preferred. 

Requirements

• Undergo a criminal background check
• Department of Motor Vehicles check
• Employment references check
• Drug screening
• Current and valid driver's license with no more than six (6) points

Description

• Carries out support functions and assists in treatment.
• Provides education, support and consultation to families.
• Promotes self determination and decision making by persons served.
