We have several LPN positions open in our Gadsden and Leon counties.

Shift:     7:30 am – 8:00 pm, and 7:30 pm-8:00 am  (Days of the week will vary, with every other weekend off)


Rate of Pay

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour (depends on experience), plus shift differential.  Less than 3 years of experience is $18.00 per hour; 3-5 years of experience is $19.00 per hour; and greater than 5 years of experience is $20.00 per hour. 

Qualifications

• Licensed as an LPN in accordance with Florida statue 464.
• Previous psychiatric experience preferred.

Description 

• Provides direct nursing assessment, care, and completes documentation in accordance with agency policy/program procedures and treatment plans. 
• Receives, documents, and implements Admission,Standing/Routine and ad hoc physician orders in accordance with Residential Procedures. Completes resident MARs in accordance with unit procedures.
• Administers medication and documents administration in accordance with unit procedures. Maintains compliance with applicable medication storage, disposal, and narcotic control policies and procedures. 
• Processes laboratory orders.
• Schedules routine and ad hoc medication management with Psychiatric MD/ARNP and participants in inter-disciplinary treatment team.
• Identifies and implements proper procedures for all medical and psychiatric emergencies. 
• Provides patient education (e.g., medication education, tobacco cessation, HIV/AIDs, etc.) in compliance with individual treatment plans and unit activity schedule.
